Questions planners ask

Can we hold the ceremony at the house?

Small ceremonies in a courtyard or The Avery’s double parlor work well. Larger guest lists usually hold the ceremony nearby and come back for the reception.

Is there a rain plan?

The parlors and dining rooms are the built-in rain plan. A tent over a courtyard is possible; size is confirmed on a walkthrough.

Can the wedding party stay over?

Yes. Most events book the house for the weekend, so the wedding party gets ready and sleeps on site.

How far ahead should we book?

Six to twelve months for spring and fall Saturdays. Share event plans at least 90 days before arrival.
